Nashville's Kid Stars Lennon & Maisy Do an Amazing Cover of "Boom Clap"

Move over Charli XCX

Fans of Nashville are probably used to focusing on one thing: Connie Britton's hair. It is a wonder to behold, and it's hard to focus on things like plot lines or characters when those auburn locks are shining at you.

But, the real-life sisters who play Connie Britton's onscreen daughters are actually pretty amazing themselves. Lennon and Maisy Stella are a musical duo in their own right, and have been something of a YouTube sensation for several years. They post original songs and stripped-down covers of popular tunes—their big breakout was a rendition of Robyn's "Call Your Girlfriend," in which they used empty margarine containers to keep the beat. Margarine containers! It does not get cuter.

Not surprisingly, as the girls have grown up, their musical skills have as well. They've graduated to using, well, real instruments like guitars. Their latest vid features the sisters performing "Boom Clap" by Charli XCX, and it's probably the sweetest thing ever. As always, the tune is Lennon and Maisy-fied, meaning it's a slower, more soulful version of the club beat. Younger sis Maisy even does her own (adorable) version of the booms and the claps. This stuff is gold, people.

But, it's also legitimately great to listen to. If you close your eyes, you'd think you were listening to to bona fide adults jamming away. Major props go out to L&M for their latest effort.
