Who knew Jimmy Fallon went to Bayside High?
The Tonight Show host has been filming his New York City-based late-night show in L.A. all week, and on Wednesday, he aired a Saved by the Bell sketch featuring several of its cast members. "Not many people know this, but I actually went to high school out here," Jimmy said. "I remember it like it was yesterday."
Cue the '90s flashback!
A teenage Jimmy joined his pals Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) and talked about his dreams of starring on Saturday Night Live and going on a date with Nicole Kidman.

"Bayside High: the home of babes, books and Belding," Zack said after making his entrance.
Zack headed to his locker, where his new friend Jimmy was reading a book. "Hey, Jimmy!" he said.
"Hey, Zack!" Jimmy replied. "How's it going?"
Then, riffing off the show's popular theme song, Zack said, "Oh, you know. Typical day. I woke up in the morning. The alarm gave out a warning. I didn't think I'd ever make it on time. By the time I grabbed my books and I gave myself a look I was at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by."
"It's. All. Right," Jimmy assured him.
Enter Slater.
"What's up, preppies?" he asked.
"Well, for your information, Slater, I was just about to ask Jimmy about the big Valentine's Day dance," Zack said. Slater joked, "Oh, you guys are going together? That's so cute!"
When Jimmy asked Slater who he planned to invite, Jessie appeared at the top of the stairs. "Hi, Jimmy! Hi, Zack! Hey, bubba!" she said.
"Are you getting ready for the big dance?" she asked Slater.
"Are you kidding me, mama?" Slater asked. "I was born ready."
Then he stripped off his clothes to reveal a leotard and showed off his ballet moves.
"Wow, Slater, with those moves you could be a contestant on Dancing With the Dweebs," Zack scoffed.

Then, Kelly called Zack—on his now iconic cell phone—to say she wasn't feeling well.
Jessie asked Jimmy who he planned to take to the dance, and that's when he confessed he wasn't going because was leaving Bayside High to become a comedian
"I love it here, but I want to be on Saturday Night Live," he explained. "Host my own talk show. Who knows, maybe one day, date Nicole Kidman."
"Dating Nicole Kidman?" Slater asked. "Man, you are a comedian!"
"Jimmy going on a date with Nicole Kidman is like Jessie becoming a stripper," Zack joked.
(In case you forgot, Elizabeth starred in the 1995 erotic thriller Showgirls.)
With Jimmy planning to leave the next day, Jessie told him, "I, for one, am so excited."
How excited, exactly?
"I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so...scared," she said. (Seriously, that episode is the best!)
The school's principal, Mr. Richard Belding (Dennis Haskins), showed up next. "What is going on here?" he asked. After hearing Jimmy's plans, he quickly left the students to find something to "cheer them up."
That's when Kelly showed up—in her cheerleading outfit, of course. (Go Tigers!)
"Listen, you and I have to talk," she told Zack. "I'm pregnant!"
She then showed him her baby bump as proof. (Tiffani is indeed expecting her second child.)
"Time out!" Zack said as the cast froze. "Well, the downside is I'll probably be grounded for life. But on the plus side, I got Kelly Kapowsky pregnant. Time in!"
"Kelly, that's great! I love you and I'll always love you. You know what we should do? We should run off to Las Vegas and get married and then we should move to a new zip code in Beverly Hills," he suggested.
(You got the Beverly Hills, 90210 reference, right? Tiffani played Valerie Malone from 1994-1998.)
Mr. Belding—aka Richie "The Big Bopper" Belding—made an announcement over the speakers.
Then, the finale: a Zack Attack "Friends Forever" musical moment!
So, where were Samuel "Screech" Powers (Dustin Diamond) and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voohries)? Dustin recently pleaded not guilty to stabbing a man in December. Lark's absence, meanwhile, is a mystery.
This isn't the first time Jimmy has paid homage to the hit TV series, which ran from 1989 to 1994 and spawned two spinoff shows. In 2009, when he was the host of NBC's Late Night, Mark-Paul appeared in character.
Last year, Jimmy staged a Full House reunion with Dave Coulier, Bob Saget and John Stamos.
