Our favorite look this week is black, white and spotty all over: Stars have been stepping in chic monochrome skirts and dresses, notably patterned with sprightly polka dots.
Like Kerry Washington, who attended the Gilt And (RED) Celebrate The Launch of Jennifer Meyer x Jessica Alba party in West Hollywood last night sporting a white-and-black Dolce & Gabbana mini with matching polka dot heels (yes) and a Roger Vivier heart-printed clutch. The look is simple, chic and sexy (and perhaps Valentine's Day-ready, if you happen to be in need of red carpet inspiration).
Meanwhile, Emma Stone stepped out for the 87th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Feb. 2 decked in a mixed-print Michael Kors get-up. The actress paired a striped sweater with a black-and-white dotted midi from Kors' Pre-Fall 2015 collection, and topped it off with bright poppy-pink lips.
And back in November, Keira Knightley attended a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a spotted Erdem confection with frilled-edge sleeves and a waist-cinching silhouette (otherwise known as perfection in polka dot form).
