The Fall Out Boy musician shared a throwback pic on his Tumblr page, showing him as a toddler in the arms of none other than now-Vice President Joe Biden, and it's just now getting the attention it deserves.
Wentz originally posted the image back on Election Day in 2008, in honor of Barack Obama and Biden's big win, along with a lengthy heartfelt message about his involvement in the campaign.
"I don't really want to force my views on anyone. I'm just some guy in a band who doesn't spell that great much less have a degree in anything," he began by sharing.
Then Wentz quoted his father, who not only explained the Biden connection but also just how important the politician was to Wentz's existence.
"Mom and I met in Washington when we were both legislative assistants to Senator Biden when he was in his first term. I had worked in his campaign and your mother had been in the Foreign Service. We started out as friends and the rest is history," wrote Wentz's father.
The rocker then weighed in again, adding, "That picture is me, Joe Biden and my mom—wow I'm like the same height still."
