Heroes Reborn is coming, and now we finally might have some small clue of what it may look like!
Just after a ten second teaser trailer featuring H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) debuted during the Super Bowl, NBC released an extended trailer that also included Zachary Levi's character, who we still know nothing about, other than that he seems to own binoculars.
In fact, we still know almost nothing about the 13 episode series, including characters, plot, and the premiere date. The only confirmed cast are Coleman and Levi, and now the only vague idea we have of the plot involves H.R.G. tracking a young girl with a special ability that seems to involve the northern lights.
Levi's casting was announced at this year's winter press tour by NBC's Robert Greenblatt, who also said that more names will be released in the coming months – including a few hopefully familiar ones.
"Jack [Coleman] is the way in but I think, and I'm not trying to be coy because I just don't know, but I think you will see several of our old cast popping into episodes," Greenblatt said.
The series comes from executive producers Tim Kring, James Middleton and Peter Elkoff, and "chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover that they possess extraordinary abilities."
Heroes Reborn is set to premiere sometime in 2015 on NBC. However, prior to that premiere, fans will be able to tune into Heroes Reborn: Digital Series on Hulu and NBC's various digital platforms.
