Amy Schumer is getting ready for her MTV Movie Awards close-up.
The funny lady is hosting this year's show for the first time.
And to get things started, she just released her first promo for the big night featuring Anna Kendrick.
In the clip, Schumer surprises Kendrick with a visit to her apartment.
"I knew you were a fan. We're going to be friends forever—can you like feel it?" Schumer exclaims to a visibly frightened Kendrick.
Schumer not only asks the Into the Woods star if she's related to Kendrick Lamar, but also wants to know if Annie is family, too.
And then there's Schumer's attempt at a compliment. "Girls with our body types get roped into always dressing super sexy, but you and I are doing like the understated thing," she explains.
And if things aren't awkward enough, Schumer has set up red plastic cups on a table because so Kendrick can do the "Cups" song from Pitch Perfect.
At least that's what we thought Schumer had in mind.

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards will be handed out on April 12 at 8 p.m. during a live telecast from Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
