Remember those infomercials for cassette tapes with sappy romance songs? You'd scoff at how cheesy they seemed—but deep down those tunes spoke to your soul!

Well, for Valentine's Day let's take a moment to embrace the sappy and celebrate with the slow jams that will forever kill on the wedding reception circuit.

From easy listening grooves and power rock ballads to sensual R&B songs, this is the ultimate playlist for the time of year when listening to the Batman Forever soundtrack is actually OK.

1. "Save The Best For Last" by Vanessa Williams: Girl, sometimes the snow does come down in June! This song makes us want to couples roller skate so hard. Seriously, any guy that can backwards skate... OK, we're off-topic.

2. "All My Life" by K-Ci & JoJo: Those white gloves and suits in the music video... SWOON! This is hands down the ultimate wedding song. We would slow dance with a grandpa or a ring bearer just to get on the floor for this one.

3. "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith: People are risking their lives blowing up asteroids so our species can write epic rock ballads like this one. What's more romantic than that?!

4. "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin: No, not the Jessica Simpson cover. We're talking the Oscar-winning Top Gun track that still makes us feel so many feelings. Who knew an aircraft boneyard could be so intimate?

5. "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams: This song is literally the only redeemable thing about Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (except for that Alan Rickman "call off Christmas" insanity.)

6. "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal: We do not understand 95% of the lyrics in this song, yet it's still the most beautiful thing we've ever heard. This almost makes a Val Kilmer Batman OK... almost.

7. "I'll Make Love To You" by Boyz II Men: Here's a fact we just made up—9 out of 10 children were conceived while this song was playing. DAMN!

8. "When A Man Loves A Woman" by Michael Bolton: Sure it's a Percy Sledge song, but there's just something about Michael's flowing '90s locks. (Where is all that wind coming from?!) We just can't resist this sexy cover!

9. "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion: Did you think we'd pick "My Heart Will Go On?" Well, that song is a bummer from a movie about a tragedy, so we'll stick with this because we love ittttt.

10. "Hello" by Lionel Richie: We could include every Lionel Richie song on this list, but this music video is everything!

11. "I Swear" by All-4-One: We swear by the moon and the stars in the sky that this song makes us want to slow dance while standing three feet away from a super-cute guy that we have middle school crush feelings for.

12. "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner: We may or may not know what love is at this point (Puppies? Wine? Unconditional feelings of acceptance?) But we do know this is a damn good jam!

13. "Every Breath You Take" by The Police: This is another song about someone creepily following another person, but like, it's OK because it's cute?

14. "I Just Called To Say I Love You" by Stevie Wonder: There was a time when people would call to tell you how they felt. No SnapChats. No texts. Actual vocal communication. We're pretty sure that would be the biggest romantic gesture possible in 2015.

BONUS SONG: Presented without comment, because it's too perfect… "Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie!
