Joaquin Phoenix's verbal vomit is sort of like Britney's va-jay-jay shots—just because it happens so often doesn't mean it's any less shocking.
Lately, the angry actor has been stirring up trouble while promoting his film We Own the Night.
On a phone interview with Time Out New York, the journalist asked about reports that Phoenix had trained with a fire academy for his role in Ladder 49, to which the actor blew up and, before hanging up on the reporter, yelled:
"I just said that because I thought it would sound good to the press. I don't know why it seems to be of note that actors do any kind of preparation. It's just what you're supposed to do in your [bleep]ing job. Do you think because you did some research you deserve some special credit?"
Apparently, he's not only testy with reporters. Costar Robert Duvall didn't have an easy time dealing with him on set and admitted Phoenix "worked hard at being crazy."
