Meghan Trainor and Harry Styles are officially combining their talents to create a track that we can only imagine will be a huge radio hit.
"It's a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele," the "All About That Bass" crooner shared with The Sun. "It's a cute acoustic love thing."
Trainor's rep confirmed to E! News that the singer did in fact write a song with the One Direction member, but said nothing has been recorded or released just yet.
"It's one of the first cool things I can do with a pop star," Trainor added to the British publication. "A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me." This is kind of a major deal, girl!
So what was the writing process like? If you ask the 21-year-old beauty, it exceeded her expectations.
"He's an incredible writer, too. I was worried he'd just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus," Trainor admitted. "But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is."
Before any romantic song surfaces for fans, Trainor has a few commitments she must attend to first.
When not promoting her debut album Title, the singer is traveling across the country and the U.K. to support her biggest hits.
"My Megatronz are amazing," she recently tweeted to her fans after her album climbed the charts. "Thank you for all Ur love and posts."
