Kate Middleton recently opened up about her second pregnancy and had the cutest encounter with a very shy 2-year-old fan.

During a visit on Monday to the newly opened Kensington Leisure Center in London, the 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge, who is six months pregnant, told a 17-year-old girl that she can feel her and Prince William's baby kicking, adding that she does not know the sex of the child, according to the U.K. newspaper The Telegraph.

"It's moving all the time," she was quoted as saying. "I can feel it kicking now."

The duchess also met a 2-year-old boy, Ryan, and his mother, Tracy, at the Family Friends charity event in the area. He was supposed to present her with a bouquet of white flowers but when she approached him, and with cameras flashing, the boy retreated towards his mom bashfully, saying, "No no, Mummy, no Mummy."

Kate bent down to get to his level and reached to pat his head gently, after which he clung to his mom's leg.

"Thank you very much," Kate told the boy. "They're very pretty."

"We practiced all weekend," his mother told The Telegraph. "He was going to say, 'These are for you, nice flowers, lovely flowers' and he was fine doing it at home. I don't know what made him so shy, normally he is really outgoing and he's never been shy like this when there's been a big occasion."

Also during her visit to the Kensington Leisure Center, Kate was presented with an inflatable duck for her and William's son, Prince George, who is almost 18 months old.

She showcased her baby bump in a green and blue Seraphine "Florrie" floral print maternity dress, which retails for $150, and a $295 powder blue dress coat, also by the designer. Both outfits are sold out on the company's website.
