Katy Perry will be in good company at Super Bowl XLIX!

NBC's Today exclusively revealed that Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem, while John Legend will perform "America the Beautiful" just before kickoff at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.

Actress Treshelle Edmond will perform both songs in American Sign Language.

Menzel, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star, shared the news via Twitter Friday, writing, "It was 1991 and I remember it well: [Whitney Houston] sings the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Almost as glorious as her voice was her huge radiant smile. I am so humbled and honored to be asked this year."

The singer follows in the footsteps of Renée Fleming (2014), Alicia Keys (2013), Kelly Clarkson (2012), Christina Aguilera (2011) and Carrie Underwood (2010). Legend, meanwhile, succeeds Queen Latifah (2014), Jennifer Hudson (2013), Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton (2012) and Lea Michele (2011).

As previously reported, Perry will headline the halftime show.

"I've got my mind, my body, my soul and my focus really in tact," she recently told E! News.

The pop star will be performing a medley of her biggest hits. "I'm going to do all the songs that work," Perry explained to E! News. "I think that my entrance and my exit as of right now—they are superb."

Lenny Kravitz will make a special appearance during Perry's 12-and-a-half-minute set, and she's eager for viewers to see what they've dreamed up together. "It feels like I've out dreamt my dream," she said.

How will Perry handle the pressure?

"I'm going to kind of recycle those nerves and make them adrenaline," she said on Today.

Super Bowl XLIX airs Feb. 1 on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
