On one of the most important days of your career, the last thing you would be thinking is how Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Cheryl Boone Isaacs is going to pronounce your name. But in the age of Adele Dazeem, such a simple concept has become a critical one.
During the live announcement of the 87th Annual Academy Awards nominations, Boone Isaacs read the category for Best Cinematography, but when it came time to announce Dick Pope's nomination for Mr. Turner, she flubbed it big time.

POOP! On live television! It looks as if John Travolta will have the last laugh after he blessed Idina Menzel with the now-infamous moniker Adele Dazeem. It's not even like Dick Pope is that hard of a name!
Obviously, in the age of the Internet, no one missed the huge mistake and many have quickly turned it into a viral sensation with Twitter reactions and Vine videos. Although there were some serious snubs and surprises from the nominations, some are just relieved that Dick Poop earned his rightful place among the stars.
