This season alone, the Fox hit has welcomed Rhea Perlman, Shonda Rhimes, Allison Tolman and Julia Stiles, with Guardians of the Galaxy star Lee Pace making his debut in tonight's episode. But he wasn't the only awesome guest star to stop by and spend some time with Mindy Kaling and the gang!
Supermodel (and one of our Twitter favorites!) Chrissy Teigen made a surprise appearance in the episode as Pace's character Alex's (aka the guy who took Mindy's virginity in college!) current GF who was not a fan of Mindy Lahiri! (A boob punch may or may not have went down.)
"Ahhhhh i'm terrified. i am not an actress and i simply love @mindykaling and #themindyproject," Teigein tweeted just as the episode started.
Of course, if you follow Kaling on Twitter you knew the model, who became a hilarious meme at the 2015 Golden Globes and totally owned it, was stopping by.
"And I'm delighted to announce my pal @chrissyteigen drops by tonight's #themindyproject in the funniest way ever," she tweeted it. "Hint: she does not like me." Teigen then responded, "EMMYS HERE WE COME."
Later, she tweeted in reference to the Globes meme, writing, "Don't make fun of me I HAVE BEEN MADE FUN OF ALL WEEK #themindyproject."
Someone definitely not making fun of Teigen? Kaling, who gushed, "There is no better looking couple than Lee Pace and Chrissy Teigen."
