Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's last time hosting the Golden Globes fizzled a bit in the ratings. According to fast national ratings, the 2015 NBC telecast had 19.3 million viewers and a 5.8 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic, down from last year's 20.9 million viewers and a 6.5 rating.

Honorees at the 2015 ceremony included first-time winners in the TV category. Amazon's Transparent took home the Best Comedy Series trophy and its star Jeffrey Tambor picked up one for his portrayal of transgender woman Maura Pfefferman. Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez took home an award for her work in The CW series. Showtime's The Affair took home the Golden Globe for Best Drama Series and its star Ruth Wilson was also honored. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kevin Spacey, Matt Bomer, Joanne Froggatt, Billy Bob Thornton and Fargo were also honored.

In the movies category, actors Amy Adams, Patricia Arquette, Michael Keaton, Eddie Redmayne, J.K. Simmons and Julianne Moore took home acting trophies. Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel and Richard Linklater's Boyhood took home the trophies for Best Comedy and Best Drama.

The Golden Globes featured a number of surprise wins, but its other moments grabbing the headlines. Margaret Cho appeared in a running bit as Cho Young Ja, a North Korean general and new member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Her appearance riled some, but Cho shot back at critics and said, "I'm of mixed North/South Korean descent—you imprison, starve and brainwash my people you get made fun of by me."

Fey and Poehler also made headlines for their opening bit where they poked fun at George Clooney and had jokes about Bill Cosby's alleged sexual assaults.

"In Into the Woods, Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby," Poehler said before she and Fey began Cosby impersonations.

And when it came for audience reactions, Jessica Chastain's shock at the Cosby joke got attention, Frances McDormand's unenthusiastic look during her reaction shots and Chrissy Teigen's cry face all lit up Twitter.
