Amy Adams seemed genuinely surprised when her name was called at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards, and unlike some of Sunday night's winners, she didn't bring a cheat sheet onstage of who to thank.

So when she accepted the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, for her role in Big Eyes, her speech seemed genuinely spontaneous and off-the-cuff. She thanked the usual suspects—the team she worked with, her fiancé Darren Le Gallo and 4-year-old daughter Aviana—but her shout-out to "Megan, at home nurturing twins in her womb," seemed a bit out of the ordinary...

You better believe that got the rumor mill churning! Was Amy expecting twins via surrogate?! No, the redheaded beauty was thanking her publicist Megan Moss-Pachon is indeed pregnant with twins, E! News can confirm.

Amy realized as soon as she made the "womb" comment that it might be a bit confusing. "Sorry," she said, "It's getting weird!"

And while her commentary might've been a bit confusing, the actress not have babies on the brain. In fact, Amy is quite content as a mother of one.

NEWS: Aw! Which hunky actor does Amy Adams' daughter have a crush on?

On a 2013 episode of Chelsea Lately, the actresses opened up to Chelsea Handler about the reaction she gets when she tells people she doesn't plan on having any more kids. "People really give you a look," she said. "They're like, 'When are you having another? And you're like, 'I'm not.' And then you feel like a bad person!"

"They're like, 'Don't you want to give her a sibling?' But I had so many siblings that I'm like, 'God, no!'" she said with a laugh.

Amy was the fourth of seven children—a legacy, it seems, she does not plan to continue for her own daughter!
