Tina Fey starts out this sneak peek by yelling out: "Are y'all ready for this jelly?" And we answered her with an immediate and emphatic "HELL YES!" We've been ready for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return to the big screen together in a comedy for what seems like decades. And now we have our first look at Sisters, their new film from the director of Pitch Perfect (Jason Moore).
It's only a 20-second sneak peek, but based on what we saw from Tina and Amy, this short first look is already more entertaining than all of Adam Sandler's Blended. Sorry, but the truth hurts.
Sisters is about two estranged sisters who come home after their parents sell their childhood home. To bring back their glory days of high school, they decide to throw one last rager of a party, and you know shenanigans will surely ensure. Maya Rudolph, John Leguizamo, Kate McKinnon and Ike Barinholtz also star.
Sisters doesn't come out until Dec. 18, 2015, but you can see Tina and Amy tonight as the hosts for the 2015 Golden Globes.
