With radiant skin and sleek straight hair, Maria Menounos' 2015 Golden Globe's look is nothing short of drop-dead gorgeous. Before she took the red carpet by storm, we got a sneak peak of the Untold with Maria Menounos star's beauty preparations, and caught up with her makeup artist Dimitris Giannetos on just how to get the look.
Inspired by the edgy beauty from Chanel's spring 2015 runway, Giannetos opted to give his longtime pal a dewy, even beachy look to compliment her gown. For her skin, the celeb makeup artist applied SheaMoisture Primer before using the brand's sheer foundation in havasu hazel, a shade slightly darker than Maria's skin tone, to achieve a soft glow.
Next, he used the SheaMoisture Color Correcting, Contouring & Highlighting Palette to highlight Maria's cheekbones and provide a sculpted contour, and then used a soft pressed powder to prevent shine. Finishing off her Dewey skin, Giannetos dusted a touch of nude illuminating powder to the E! star's cheekbones.
For her soft romantic gaze, Giannetos dusted wet-dry eyeshadow on her lids, and finished her lashes with a touch of volumizing and lengthening mascara. And let's not forget about the finishing touch—Maria's subtle nude lips, created with the brand's lip gloss in a champagne hue.
As for the end result? Just look for yourself—it's absolutely breathing! The E! star was among the first starlets to hit the red carpet, wearing a striking royal blue Gabriela Cadena gown with delicate sequined embroidery.
