It's a bird. It's a plane. It's another spinoff!

The CW is eyeing another Arrow spinoff after the success of The Flash, it was revealed during the network's "Heroes and Villains of Arrow & The Flash" panel during the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour on Sunday.

"We're in very early talks on a very general idea that we haven't dug deeper yet," Greg Berlanti, the man responsible for bringing Arrow and The Flash to the small screen.

The character the "general idea" is focused on? It's sounding like it's Ray Palmer aka the Atom, played by guest star Brandon Routh!

And Routh, who was on the panel, said he'd be game for leading his own show, even after tackling one of the most legendary DC Comics characters, Clark Kent/Superman, 2006's Superman Returns.

"When [the Arrow role] was proposed, I was hesitant to step into DC world again," Routh admitted. "I never thought it would happen and that I would play, in my mind, a pivotal character. It's been nothing but an amazing experience."

CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that the network is "preliminary discussions" about a spinoff, but also stressed that they "have to be judicious. Could there be another hour in that universe? Possibly. That's why we're in preliminary discussions about [The show] has to stand on its own legs."

But when asked directly about a possible Atom-centered spinoff, Pedowitz hedged, "There's room for a lot of things, but we're not there. Again, preliminary discussions."

Would you want to see an Atom spinoff? Which other character should get their own series? Sound off in the comments!
