The big night is fast approaching, but did the Golden Globes just spoil the show?!

Well, not so fast, let's explain what went down…

Earlier today, the Golden Globes website showed 2014's lucky winners with accompanying photos next to each category. Under the two sections for Best Motion Picture, Drama and Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, however, the names of two new movies were listed.

Selma and Into the Woods were shown under the winners for each category, but snapshots of the 2014 winners (American Hustle and 12 Years a Slave) were shown.

The Guardian immediately took notice, questioning whether or not the Hollywood Foreign Press Association had accidentally spoiled their own show.

Within a short while, their site was reverted back to last year's winners and Bluefin, the HFPA's web developer, claimed that it was nothing but a technical error—and that the titles of those two films were picked at random during testing.

They released the following statement:

"While testing the official website of the Golden Globe Awards for Sunday's ceremony, Bluefin inadvertently took the test live.  We randomly selected two film titles with no knowledge of the category winners. We are solely responsible for the error."

Well then, we'll have to wait 48 more hours to see who really wins for arguably the biggest awards on Golden Globes night!
