Back in 2010, the Grammy-winner was on The View, and she had the most amazing thing to say when Whoopi Goldberg called her Beyoncé

If we are ever put in the same category (or the same sentence) as Beyoncé, we are beyond honored. You might say we are Beyonored. Even if it's just someone saying: "Hey, I see you are holding Beyoncé's latest album. That's cool." That's enough for us. That's a damn compliment and we will take that all the way to the Bey bank.

And now we finally have proof that being labeled Beyoncé is of the highest regard. It's sort of like being knighted, we bet. We would get down on our knees and Beyoncé herself would tap our shoulders with a scepter that's been constructed out of all the glitter and sequins she wore during her Destiny's Child days. We will arise as Beyoncé-d.

How do we know this is the highest honor? Because Beyoncé herself proved it during an interview with the ladies of The View all the way back in 2010

This piece of the interview has been unearthed for a very important reason. Whoopi Goldberg says simply to Beyoncé:

"You are Beyoncé."

And Beyoncé's response?

"Thank you."

That is literally the only response to anyone calling you Beyoncé, especially if you yourself are Beyoncé. You may weep gratefully if someone calls you by Queen Bey's name or you may hug them tightly to show your gratitude. But the only person who can calmly say "thank you" to that incredible compliment is Beyoncé.

But shouldn't the whole world just be thanking her for her existence?
