If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

At least, that's what Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting's attitude seems to be since her interview with Redbook magazine for their February issue went viral. Although she has already apologized for her comments, which she said were taken out of context, she continued to take a jab at the ordeal at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards.

She and her The Wedding Ringer co-stars took the stage to present and award and ended up mocking the issue.

"Can we just show the nominees, please, for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress?" Cuoco pleaded while Kevin Hart and Josh Gad were joking around.

"Ooh now Kaley, are you sure you want to do that category given your anti-feminism stance?" Gad asked.

"Yeah, I have to, it's part of my apology tour," she joked.

The Big Bang Theory actress sparked some controversy for the answer she gave when the magazine asked her if she considers herself a feminist.

"Is it bad if I say no? It's not really something I think about," she said. "Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around… I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."

Speaking about her relationship with her husband of one year, Ryan Sweeting, she said, "I cook for Ryan five nights a week. It makes me feel like a housewife; I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I'm so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him.

"My mom was like that," she added, "so I think it kind of rubbed off."

But the widespread backlash was so severe that she explained herself on Instagram.

"In my Redbook article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism," she wrote. "If any of you are in the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context.

"I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended," said the 29-year-old actress, who earns $1 million per episode of her hit CBS sitcom. "Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."
