The Arrow and The Flash showrunners sure do love Spartacus alums!

On Arrow, Nick Tarabay played Digger Harkness, aka Captain Boomerang, Cynthia Addai-Robinson currently plays A.R.G.U.S. leader Amanda Waller, Katrina Law plays Nyssa al Ghul, and Manu Bennett played (and will return as) the big bad Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke.

And now, yet another Spartacus alum is joining in on the DC Comics fun, but this time, he's heading to Arrow's spinoff, The Flash!

E! News has confirmed that Liam McIntyre has been cast as a major villain on The Flash, and he will first appear in episode 15. So who is he playing?

Remember the first metahuman Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) met in the series premiere, Clyde Mardon (Chad Rook), aka the bank robber who had the ability to control weather? McIntyre will play his brother, Mark Mardon! Oh, but in-the-know fans probably know him by his other name: the Weather Wizard! Goosebumps, anyone?

Mark will make his way back to Central City on a mission of brotherly revenge. He's seeking to get justice for his brother's untimely death. Mark uses his powers, similar to Clyde's ability to control the weather, to go on a rampage to find the man that shot Clyde...Joe West (Jesse L. Martin).

Sounds like Barry's going to need to stock up on rain gear in order to save one of his three father figures!

McIntyre is best known for taking over the late Andy Whitfield's titular role on Spartacus: War of the Damned.

The Flash returns Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
