Here's something you Bachelor fans need to know: Chris Soules can look you in the eye and without hesitation and tell you that the girls who were picked for his season were "of such a high caliber. They were all beautiful, funny, smart."
He can say this without laughing. And for that, we love him. Because he is very kind. And apparently, we are not.
Because let's face it. Anyone who watched The Bachelor's three-hour premiere on Monday knows that many of the 30 women who piled out of those limos in an endless stream had some straight-up ridiculous statements fly out of their mouths. They didn't know what alfalfa was. Or a pomegranate. They couldn't do simple math. And don't even get us started on the girl who asked Chris to "plow my field."
Maybe they were nervous. Maybe they were drunk? They're probably all secretly rocket scientists. But it was ah-mahzing entertainment nonetheless. (Tip o' the hat, ABC.) So when I sat down with Chris to badger him for info about which girl he picked, why, and when they're getting married (check back for that scoop tomorrow morning!), I couldn't help but play a little game of: "Guess Which Dumb Things Were Actually Said By Girls on Your Show." Because...The world needs it.
