Bradley Cooper is still young at heart.

The American Sniper actor celebrated his 40th birthday Monday by making an appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show. Host Jimmy Fallon's boyish charm rubbed off on his guest, as the Producers Guild Award nominee received a unique present: an afro wig. "This is amazing," Cooper said. "This is another level."

With matching wigs affixed atop their heads, Fallon mentioned that Cooper "has a little musical talent." The actor replied, "I'm glad you said that because it's very little." What did he mean? "I play air guitar," he said. "When I was a kid I had a lot of time on my hands and there's this one song by Neil Young. I don't know if everybody knows this, and I'm sort of proud that I know it. It's just the guitar solo from 'Down by the River'...To air guitar to it is so meaningless...but I'd love to give you a little taste. It's long!"

Cooper, who currently stars in The Elephant Man on Broadway, then showed off his skills.

The air guitar was "long," but it was worth it—watch the video now to see for yourself!
