Every year there're always a few starlets who fall short of the best-dressed round up, but hey, every celeb's entitled to an off-beat red carpet. That being said, there are some crimes against fashion that just can't be forgotten, and the Golden Globes are no exception.
Diane Kruger is usually en pointe in the style department, but that was not the case at the 2006 show. The blond beauty wore an odd bandeau-meets-skirt design that looked like a belly dancing costume gone wrong. And at last year's show, Lena Dunham suffered a serious fashion faux pas in an ill-fitting, mustard Zac Posen gown.
Vanessa Williams could've benefitted from a less-is-more mentality back in 2007, with a fur coat, uber-voluminous hair and a busy tulle Carmen Marc Valvo gown. Moving in a more gothic direction, Sharon Stone's vampy Versace ensemble left little to the imagination back in 2003. And speaking of revealing ensembles, Renée Zellweger's Carolina Herrera gown from the 2009 Golden Globes was just too sheer on top to be flattering on anyone.
