It's official: We need Dwayne Johnson to perform at our holiday party next year.

This Christmas, The Rock has gifted us with an epic musical performance complete with, yes, the People's Onesie.

Donning a Christmas sweater-themed jumpsuit and Santa hat, the 42-year-old wrestling star and Fast & Furious actor showcased his holiday spirit and channeled Elvis Presley, the late King of Rock n' Roll, with a karaoke performance of "Here Comes Santa Claus" on the syndicated morning talk show Live With Kelly and Michael on Wednesday, Christmas Eve.

"I'm in a onesie!" he said in the middle of the song.

He was also joined by a special guest as co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, who were also dressed in holiday outfits, watched from a nearby couch and rocked out.

Johnson appeared to dedicate the song to pal Hugh Jackman.

"Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus right down Santa Claus lane..." The Rock said on Instagram, alongside a photo. "#KaraokeKING #LIVEWithKellyAndMichael #ChristmasEveShow #RealGsWearOnesies."

Ripa and Strahan had challenged Johnson to a "Christmas Karaoke Smackdown." The pair sang a cover of rap duo Run-D.M.C.'s 1987 Christmas single, "Christmas in Hollis."

Many fans of Johnson are well-aware that he can sing like an angel, as seen in the 2012 movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, in which the California-born star, who went to high school in Hawaii, also played the ukulele.

And are we due for a fantastic musical collaboration soon? He posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday a photo of himself with soul and R&B singer Aloe Blacc.

"This is one brilliant musician and good brotha," The Rock said. "If the stars align, Aloe Blacc and myself will collaborate and bring you something cool in summer 2015. #SoKeepYourCalmAndCarryOn #TheWholeWorldsSittingOnATickingBomb #WhereWillYouBe #SA."

Johnson showcased his holiday spirit earlier this week as well, sharing on Instagram what appears to be a fan-made, Christmas-themed photoshopped pic showing a throwback photo of himself wearing a fanny pack that had gone viral back in July.
