Glee couldn't hold it back anymore.

Lea Michele's version of "Let It Go" has officially been released in full, and it does not disappoint. Obviously, we're not surprised that it's a fairly flawless rendition, given not only Michele's fabulous voice, but also the fact that Idina Menzel, the song's original singer, also happens to play her onscreen mother.

While we have no idea what context Rachel happens to be belting the Frozen hit in, we're unfortunately pretty sure she won't be building herself an awesome ice castle in an attempt to escape the judgmental citizens of her kingdom, which is really too bad. Aside from that, the only thing that would make this performance even sweeter is if Menzel herself were to show up for another duet. That doesn't seem likely, but we will never stop dreaming.

After the recording of Michele's take on the hit song was released, the Glee star wrote on Twitter, "So happy w/ how "LET IT GO" came out for #GleeSeason6 ! Thanks @alxanders & @AdamAnders ! Hope we made you proud @idinamenzel love u!"

And guess what? Menzel was proud! She praised her fictional daughter's work, tweeting that it was "stunning." Love. It.
