Chris Klein Is Engaged! Actor Set to Marry Laina Rose Thyfault

Chris Klein is engaged to his longtime ladylove Laina Rose Thyfault, his rep Jaime Primak Sullivan confirmed to E! News.

People magazine was the first to report the exciting news, which is just in time for the holidays, and added that the actor popped the big question in Venice Beach over the weekend. 

Sullivan also shared details about the former American Pie star's proposal, saying, "Chris and Laina are very happy and look forward to celebrating their engagement over the holidays."

Well now, that sounds like it's going to be one very merry Christmas at the newly engaged duo's home, doesn't it?!

The two have been dating for almost four years and met at a mutual friend's wedding.

Klein has kept a relatively low profile over the past few years, but opened up about his struggles with sobriety back in 2010.

After his second DUI that year, the Mamma Mia actor voluntarily checked himself into a 30-day treatment center to deal with alcoholism.

Just a few years later, the 35-year-old was candid about his battle with the disease and told People that he was in a much, much better place.

"It got to the point where I was a fragile shadow of the young man that came into this business," he explained.

"Today, I'm the luckiest guy alive."
