If Nicki Minaj and Jimmy Fallon had gone to high school together, they might not have been in the same clique.
The "Anaconda" rapper and late-night host compared yearbook photos on Tuesday's Tonight Show, and based on Nicki's reaction, it seems she was not a fan of guys with feathered hair or peach fuzz mustaches (sorry, young Jimmy)!
The throwback shots started thanks to Beyoncé, who shared Nicki's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School pic to commemorate her 32nd birthday earlier this month. And while Jimmy pointed out that young Nikki (who went by her birth name, Onika, back in the day) looked "gorgeous" as a teen, she didn't agree.
"I do hate this picture," Nicki said, telling Jimmy, 40, she'd "love" to see his high school pic. "Make me feel better," she said with a laugh.
When Jimmy's pic did appear, Nicki didn't hide her reaction too well! "Oh, my God," she exclaimed. "Whoa!"
As Jimmy fussed at the Tonight Show crew to "take if off" the screen, Nicki gave him some faux-reassurance. "You look really nice," she said, making a funny expression at the camera.
"You've gotta turn up those acting skills there," Jimmy said. "I didn't believe you there!"
Hey, a little bad hair in high school does a lot for character development in the long-run.
