We've got some good news and some bad news for you, The League fans.

The good news? FXX has officially picked up the fantasy football comedy for a seventh season. That's right, celebrate and Shiva blast with us!

Shivakamini Somakandarkram!

But here's the bad news: season seven will be the last. Yeah, we're giving this piece of news the Sacko.

Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, presidents of original programming for FX Networks, as well as the husband-and-wife team/executive producers Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer, announced the news today in a way fit for The League...and we seriously can't stop laughing. But now we can't tell if these tears are happy tears from laughing so hard or sad tears since we're in mourning.

"Our gang can burn a beach house like Calvin Johnson on a secondary but I shudder to think what they'll do in the final battle for the Shiva," Grad said. "The real studs here are the fans who have remained so loyal to the show over the years, including the move to FXX, and for them we are going out on top."

Jeff said, "We are incredibly excited to work with our amazing cast for another season, especially because I can now announce that I finally won the fantasy football league that we play in with them."

But Jackie responded with, "Whatever, I've won it twice. Most players in the NFL don't make it seven seasons, and most TV shows even less so. We want to thank FX Networks and all our Eskimo Brothers and Sisters—NFL teams would be lucky to have fans as diehard as ours."

"Spoiler alert—We already know how it will all end—with credits and the theme song," Jeff added.

Season seven of The League will be 13 episodes and will kick off in the fall of 2015.
