Welcome to the United States, Kate Middleton and Prince William

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in New York City for a jam-packed three-day visit. As expected, the royal couple is already creating buzz with their impeccable taste and style.

Holding hands in front of a crowd of New Yorkers and photographers, the twosome smiled bright as they walked into their hotel hand-in-hand. William wore a signature suit with a blue tie while Kate donned black gloves and a burgundy Séraphine coat over her dress.

"It's good to be here," Prince William told the hotel staff when entering through the main doors. Prince George is staying home in the U.K. for this trip and is believed to be in the care of his nanny and grandmother Carole Middleton

The couple touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport after a seven-hour flight via British Airways.

They were whisked away to Manhattan to the swanky Carlyle Hotel, a favorite among celebrities like George Clooney, Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe.

"This was Princess Diana's favorite hotel," a source revealed to E! News. "The suites are all different and unique. Everything and anything they need will be ready for them at the arrival on Sunday."

And as you can imagine, security is extra tight for the two VIP guests. "They are being extra careful," a staffer said. "Even during the Met Gala, security isn't this tight."

In the coming days, Prince George's father is expected to travel to the White House where he will meet with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

On Monday, Kate will visit the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem before reuniting with her husband for a professional NBA game in Brooklyn. And yes, there's still a chance Beyoncé and Jay Z could come too and watch the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Brooklyn Nets.

Their visit will conclude Tuesday with a visit to the National September 11th Memorial Museum.

So without further ado, welcome to the states and enjoy your visit!
