The girl may be gone but the boy is here!
Rosamund Pike and partner Robie Uniacke have welcomed their second son together, Pike's rep exclusively confirms to E! News.
The British actress gave birth at home on Dec. 2. Their baby boy joins big brother Solo, 2 1/2, in the family fold.
E! News was also first to report back in June that Pike and her mathematician beau of close to five years were expecting again. By the time Gone Girl hit theaters in October, the star was elegantly flaunting a growing bump on the red carpet as she basked in the pre-award season buzz for her twisted-to-a-tee performance as Ben Affleck's missing wife Amy.
With Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations set to be announced next week, so far Pike has scored a Satellite Award nom for Best Actress, and Gone Girl was just named one of the year's 10 best films by the National Board of Review—always a good sign heading into the thick of awards season!
Pike is also due to be honored at the 2015 Palm Springs Film Festival with the Breakthrough Performance Award.
Talking about her then-family of three to Vogue in 2012, she said, "It is interesting to break all the rules. I'm not married, I have a baby, and it feels infinitely more right."
Seems as though she's doing quite a lot of things right these days. Congratulations to the new family of four!
