Misty Upham's cause of death has been revealed.

The 32-year-old August Osage County actress—who was found dead in mid-October more than two weeks after she was reported missing—died of blunt force injury to her head and torso, the King County medical examiner's office confirms to E! News. The manner of death is still undetermined.

Upham died in the Seattle suburb of Auburn, where her body was recovered by a family member, who had been searching for the actress, at the bottom of a 150 embankment. According to reports, officials said that the trauma is believed to be caused by a fall, and there is no indication of foul play, although it is unclear what happened.

Just one week prior to Misty's body being discovered, her father, Charles Upham, told The Hollywood Reporter that his daughter suffered from bipolar disorder and was off her medication when she disappeared, leading him to believe that she may have been suicidal.

However, after the body was identified, Tracy Rector, a longtime friend of Misty's, said the Uphams no longer believed that was the case: "The family has stated that, after seeing the body, they still do not feel that Misty Upham committed suicide."

At the time, the Auburn Police Department also told E! News, "At this point we do not have any evidence or information to believe there is foul play."

Misty played the role of Meryl Streep's caretaker in August: Osage County. The Oscar winner paid her respects following Upham's death, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "So, so sad to hear this news—all our thoughts are with her family and with her beautiful spirit."

Misty's close friend Juliette Lewis also opened up about the star's passing via Instagram, expressing her film belief that Upham's death "is not a suicide."

Following Upham's death, her family posted on her official Facebook page (the post has since been deleted) alleging that police mistreatment caused her to "fear" the officers, and in an attempt to "hide" from the cops, she accidentally ran off the edge of a steep embankment, falling to her death.

Shortly after, the Auburn Police Department release a statement denying any mistreatment. "Since July of 2013, the Auburn Police Department has responded to five separate incidents involving Ms. Upham," the statement read. "On four of those incidents, she was contacted by officers and she did not object to being transported by private ambulance for further evaluation. On the 5th incident, Misty had already left the residence and officers were unable to locate her. Each contact was handled professionally and with compassion, with the goal of getting Ms. Upham the attention and care she needed."

Additionally, in response to Charles Upham's allegations that Misty "was afraid of the Auburn PD," police said: "There have been no mistreatment complaints received by the Auburn Police Department from Ms. Upham, her family, MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, King County Sheriff's Office, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe or elected officials at the City of Auburn."
