Earlier today, Michelle Obama welcomed visitors of all ages inside the White House to check out their annual holiday decorations.
The theme this year, A Children's Winter Wonderland, was present throughout many rooms and truly captured the spirit of the holiday season.
And since all eyes are on the East Visitor Entrance when you first arrive at the residence, the Boxwood Trellis, wood cutout trees and gold-colored firewood serves as a welcoming point for all those who set foot inside.
The East Wing Hallway was transformed with crystal detailing strewn throughout, as well as faux red berries and fresh garlands filled with pine cones.
Alexis Bittar ornaments deck the halls of the Vermeil Room, while black-and-white satin ribbon animated replicas of first dogs Bo and Sunny are proudly displayed in the East Garden Room (more commonly known as Booksellers).
Inside the East Room, the largest room in the White House, four Folk Art Carousel Deer on loan from the Charlotte Dinger Collection and the Merry Go Round are shown for all families to enjoy.
Dioramas made from paper cutouts depicting winter scenes made by artist Jen Lange serve as centerpieces on the mantels in the room as well.
The Red Room (no, not that one) offers up a modern twist on the traditional White House cranberry tree décor.
Local designer Maggie Austin designed vases filled with faux berries, birds, and branches all made of sugar are placed throughout.
Beautiful wreaths are also hung in each window of the room while ornate shrubbery decorates the fireplace with wooden ornaments and berries.
So where is the official White House Christmas tree?! Why, in the Blue Room, of course!
The theme for this year's tree is America the Brave, which honors the nation's servicemen and servicewomen.
Approximately 2,000 patriotic ornaments are hung on the 18-foot Concolor Fir, along with an "America the Brave" banner.
The tree also holds handwritten cards created by children with thank you messages to the military.
