The Sam Smith love train keeps on chuggin' along.

The Brit singer was just named Best New Musician (Male) at tonight's 2014 New Next Now Awards.

Best New Lead Film Actor went to The Fault in Our Stars hottie Ansel Elgort, while Natalie Dormer won Best New Lead Film Actress for her work as Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1.

Rounding out the movie category were director Justin Simien's Dear White People for Best Motion Picture By a New Filmmaker and Gillian Flynn, who won Best New Screenwriter for the adaptation of her best-selling novel Gone Girl.
