Your dream best friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be back to host the Golden Globes for the third time, and according to them, well, it's not going to be as good.

"This is our third time. How are we going to keep it fresh?" Poehler asks in the exclusive promo below. "Uh, we're not," Fey quips.

That's fine, because for the last two years they've been keeping it hi-lar-ious. We'd still laugh at their old jokes, even if the same movies and TV shows are nominated.

The dynamic duo has helmed the awards show since 2013 to rave reviews and solid ratings for NBC. "We don't think we would be able to get in unless we were hosting," Poehler says. "Not anymore," Fey adds.

Poehler won a Golden Globe last year for her work as Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation, and during its seven-season run, Fey took home two trophies for 30 Rock. NBC recently announced Poehler's Parks and Rec will begin its final season on Jan. 13 with back-to-back episodes in the afterglow of the 72nd Golden Globes, which air on Jan. 11.

Check out the exclusive video above for more on Poehler and Fey's plans, as well as some highlights from their opening act during the 2014 ceremony.

"So, I'm going to try and get Julia Louis-Dreyfus to smile, for once," Poehler says.

"Good luck," Fey says.

During past shows, Fey and Poehler have thrown jokes at their good friends, done bits in character and of course kissed Bono. Sadly, this will be the last time the two take the reins, according to Poehler.

"It's the law of diminishing returns, which is why this is our last time," Poehler said during a recent appearance on Today. "Unless you want to be a perennial host, there's nowhere to go but down!"

One thing is for sure: With the two of them at the helm, it'll be a night to remember.

The 72nd Annual Golden Globes air Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
