Are you ready to never grow up?
While the debut of NBC's newest live musical event, Peter Pan Live, is still a few days away, we're here to brighten up your Monday with a dance party! Some of the cast of Peter Pan Live, including Christian Borle and Kelli O'Hara, are joined by songwriter and Youtuber Alex G, DJ Tay James, and fans from around the world for a new rendition of the quintessential Peter Pan song, "I Won't Grow Up."
The adorable music video features clips that were sent in by fans after a call went out on Alex G's YouTube page for submissions. Viewers were asked to show off their "cool, awesome, hip, fresh dance moves," and the clips were compiled alongside video of the cast doing exactly the same thing. Or at least, trying to do the exact same thing.
You'll definitely want to see Mr. and Mrs. Darling (Borle and O'Hara) attempt to boogie it up, and we cannot even express to you how fun it is to watch Michael (John Allyn), John (Jake Lucas), and Wendy (Taylor Louderman) show off their own dance moves alongside a few of the pirates. Even if the video doesn't make you want to also get up and dance (which it should), it should at least make you super excited for what is sure to be an amazing show!
Peter Pan Live! also stars Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, Alanna Saunders as Tiger Lily, and Girls' Allison Williams as the titular Peter Pan, and it airs this Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
