Something major is coming your way on Thanksgiving…
J.J. Abrams just announced that fans will get a quick glimpse at the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens on the holiday in select theaters.
In a tweet he posted, showing off a handwritten note from his own personal stationery, Abrams revealed that Star Wars fanatics will get "a tiny peek at what we're working on."
He added, "Hope you enjoy and have a most excellent Thanksgiving."
And besides the major announcement, Abrams divulged that the teaser clip will be all of 88 seconds. Yep, that's right. It'll be a blink-and-you-may-miss-it moment that you'll surely want to savor.
So far, there's been a huge shroud of secrecy following the film, save for a few alleged leaks here and there.

Like this potential spoiler: According to Badass Digest, the new movie will begin with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega's characters discovering Luke Skywalker's severed hand 30 years after Return of the Jedi ends.
The two then link up with Han Solo and Chewbacca to track down the Jedi master. But again, this is all a rumor as of now…
What we do know for certain is who we can expect to see on the big screen.
Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are all set to make their return and will join Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow and last, but certainly not least, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o.
A tentative release date is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2015.
