In the premiere, we learned Val was one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had a guest stint on a crime procedural and launched her own hair product line with her best guy Mickey (Robert Michael Morris). A lot has changed since we last saw Valerie. Trends came and went and new technology arrived to make her quest for the spotlight all the more easier.

The new season of The Comeback sees Valerie Cherish starring in Seeing Red, an HBO dramedy written by her former Room and Bored boss Paulie G. (Lance Barber). She's playing a version of herself, Mallory Church, and the show is sort of based on what went on behind the scenes of her old show while Paulie G. was addicted to heroin.
The Comeback airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on HBO.
