Despite what you may have heard, Blake Lively and Martha Stewart are much more friends than competitors.
It was perfectly clear when the two lifestyle experts came together at Martha Stewart's American Made Summit in New York City Saturday afternoon to chat about business and family.
Wearing a stunning Michael Kors knit shirt and skirt with heels and a turquoise necklace, the former Gossip Girl star talked openly about her growing website, Preserve, as well as a few personal details. As it turns out, Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds is a huge fan of Stewart.
"When we met Martha, Martha goes, ‘I know how to ride motorcycles. I will ride with you, Ryan.'" Lively shared. "Martha is the only woman that can creep up on my man!"
But for the record, Stewart (who is neighbors with the couple and shares the same realtor) isn't interested in any dangerous trips around the city. After all, the former talk show host argues, "The roads where we live are really dangerous."
When not riding around town on his beloved motorcycle, Reynolds is helping his wife in any way he can with her website.
"He is probably more [involved] than he wants to be but what's important about Preserve is it's not just about females. It's about families," she shared. "It's not just female specific. I love shopping for him as much as I love shopping for myself as well as I love creating meals for him."
Speaking of fashion, Lively has been turning heads with her recent maternity wear. Whether on the red carpet or shopping in the Big Apple, the actress is working that baby bump with effortless style. The crazy thing is that she doesn't have any help!
"I've never used a stylist because I love it too much," she shared with Stewart. "It's such an expression of me."
And when asked if she would ever design her own line of clothes, Lively didn't rule it out.
"I would love to when I can find 28 hours in my day," she joked. "But I'm hoping to do some exclusive things in the future."
