NBC is really aiming hight with its live events!

The Peacock is well underway in preparing for Peter Pan Live!, the holiday musical special starring Allison Williams and Christopher Walken, but the network is already eyeing its next live event.

The next classic to be reinvented as a live staging? Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men!

A source confirms to E! News that NBC is currently working out an agreement with Sorkin for his breakout 1989 Broadway play which was then adapted in 1992 into a movie starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore. But this time, there's a twist!

Don't expect A Few Good Men to take the same shape as NBC's previous live musicals The Sound of Music Live! and the upcoming Peter Pan Live!, since this time, there won't be any singing.

A Few Good Men is the story of a court-martial case against two Marines who were accused of killing another serviceman...aka not exactly the right material to warrant breaking out into song.

Since the deal is still in development, there's no word yet on who would star in the play or when it would premiere, but it would be produced by The Sound of Music Live! and Peter Pan Live!'s Craig Zadan and Neil Meron with Sorkin taking another look at the material to adapt it for a live TV staging, Variety reports.

Are you excited to see this classic turned into a live TV event?
