It seems like every week we find ourselves talking about another big Hollywood breakup.
Fortunately, we don't have to worry about any trouble between Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker.
On Wednesday's Meredith Vieira Show, the actor was asked about his successful marriage to the Sex & The City star. Turns out, the two share an unbreakable friendship.
"We really are friends beyond everything else and we talk a lot," he told Meredith Vieira when sharing his advice to couples. "Keep talking I guess, I know how cliché that is. Too much silence is definitely not a good idea."
He added, "She's really funny, she makes me laugh. That's good. I wish I had a better answer." Awww, it's a sweet answer, Matthew!
And with 17 years of marriage under their belt, their tactics appear to be working. It also doesn't hurt that the two share three adorable kids that light up their lives each and everyday.
"I'm very happy with that," Broderick shared. "It is good. I'm very blessed being married to her."
Recently, SJP shared similar feelings about her main man. During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 49-year-old explained the importance of staying united.
"I love Matthew Broderick. Call me crazy, but I love him," she shared. "We're very devoted to our family and our lives. I love our life. I love that he's the father of my children, and it's because of him that there's this whole other world that I love."
