Taylor Swift, take note: Katniss Everdeen's "surprised face" is the real deal!

That probably has something to do with the fact that Jennifer Lawrence's character is genuinely shocked to discover that Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) is still alive. In a new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 clip, which premiered exclusively on Good Morning America Wednesday, Katniss discovers this when she sees a televised Capitol interview with Peeta talking to Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci).

"There has been rampant speculation about what really happened in the quarter quell," says Caesar, "and here to shed a little light on the subject for us is a very special guest. Please welcome Mr. Peeta Mellark...Peeta, a lot of people feel as though they are in the dark..."

"Yeah," answers Peeta., "I know how they feel."

The clip cuts to Katniss, her mouth wide-open as she stares at the TV interview in disbelief.

She gets closer to the screen, eager to hear what Peeta says "really happened on that final and controversial night."

"Well, first off, you have to understand that when you're in the Games, you only get one wish," says an all-white wearing Peeta. "It's very costly."

Katniss watches in astonishment, whispering as she stars unwaveringly at Peeta's image on the screen, "You're alive."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 hits theaters Nov. 21.
