Welcome back to the spotlight, Janet Jackson

The 48-year-old stunner made a triumphant return to the red carpet when she made a rare public appearance at the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience in Dubai on Friday.

The sighting marks Jackson's first red carpet appearance since she attended the amfAR 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS event in France back in May 2013.

Wissam Al Mana's wife turned heads in a long-sleeved black dress that covered up her killer curves, adding a diamond necklace and matching earrings to her elegant ensemble. She swept her long locks up in a fierce ponytail which highlighted her enviable cheekbones and perfectly groomed eyebrows, teaming her sexy style with a snake-inspired ring.

The "All For You" singer's makeup artist also shared a close-up show of Jackson's stunning transformation, writing, "Such a wonderful time here in #Dubai with my sis painted by me #makeupartist #prestonmakeup #vogue #voguedubai #makeup #makeupforever #janetjackson."

The image also shows the intricate henna art drawn on Jackson's hand as the songstress strikes a sultry pose for the camera.

Jackson has been maintaining a relatively low profile since tying the knot with billionaire beau Wissam Al Mana in 2012, although the private couple did not confirm their I-dos until Feb. 2013.

Coincidentally, an impressive Janet Jackson lookalike just so happened to hit the streets on Thursday night in NYC. The impersonator in question? None other than Beyoncé

The superstar dressed up as her idol for Halloween while her daughter Blue Ivy wore a Michael Jackson costume which seriously killed us with cuteness.

Talk about an epic tribute to the iconic siblings!
