Things may be rocky between Mama June and ex Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, but the pair seemed to show a united front during a family trip to Walmart.

The duo, who even strolled hand-in-hand into the retail chain, joined daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson for some Halloween costume shopping and were spotted taking selfies with fans, an eyewitness tells E! News.

Honey Boo Boo pulled out the Scream mask at one point and gestured it to her mother as a possible costume suggestion, but it appeared as though Mama June said no, because Honey Boo Boo started screaming, "But it's Scream!"

Besides Halloween costumes, the family purchased Mountain Dew and Halloween cookies among other items. Following their trip to WalMart, the trio went to the Midgeville Mall where Mama June had a hair appointment.

The family's outing comes right after a source told E! News that Sugar Bear is "distraught" over the controversy surrounding Mama June and convicted child molester Mark McDaniel. "He is torn apart by this. He is very concerned for Alana and the girls and he has no idea what the hell June is thinking right now."

The insider added that at this point, Sugar Bear hasn't decided if he is going to try and get full custody of Honey Boo Boo, but he is thinking about every option at this point. "He is not happy that Alana was exposed to Mark."

And while their minimal PDA throughout the day may spark ideas that a reconciliation could be in play, the source already told us, "They are not getting back together."

TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo last week following reports that June was dating McDaniel after her split from Sugar Bear in September (June denies she's dating McDaniel).

McDaniel was convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004. He served 10 years in a Georgia state prison and was released in March of this year. He is currently a registered sex offender in Georgia.
