Katherine Heigl is coming back to television!

The actress returns to the small screen as chief CIA analyst Charleston Tucker on NBC's latest political drama, State of Affairs! Tucker has one of toughest jobs in the country as the daily briefer to President Constance Payton (Alfre Woodard) . She is forced to prioritize the most important international crises affecting the nation and make crucial judgment calls at the blink of an eye.

Heigl is well known for her Emmy-winning performance as Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy, but she's also made her mark in movies, such as Knocked Up, 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth.
