Even though you probably have no idea who she is—yet—you simply must pay attention to Leona Lewis. The 21-year-old singer from London and winner of last year's X Factor, an American Idol-esque talent show in England, will definitely be on your radar soon.

I just heard a sampling of what she sounds like at a VIP showcase at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She sang three songs—"Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Summertime"—and words cannot describe her voice. Suffice it to say, if Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey could have a love child, she would be Leona Lewis.

Lewis has already become a megastar in England, and she's currently working on her U.S. debut album under the guidance of producing legend Clive Davis, so it's only a matter of time before she takes this country by storm. Until then, check out her Website. I promise, Leona will blow you away.
