In late September, the 30-year-old model filed for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa. The news sparked rumors that Nick Cannon, who is dealing with his own marital issues with wife Mariah Carey and who recently became Rose's manager, played some part in the breakup. A source had told E! News that the pair's relationship is "just business" and that they "have never hooked up."
Rose, wearing a black leather cowl-neck, short-sleeve top that showed off her tattoos, including one of her estranged husband's face, black skinny pants and thick sunglasses and bright coral lipstick, spoke to E! News on the red carpet at the XXIV Karat Champagne launch party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday.
When asked what is the biggest lie she's ever heard about herself that she would like to clear up, she replied, laughing, "That I've slept with Nick Cannon!!!"
"NOT true," she said, joking, "Cool for him...but no, didn't happen."
Rose accuses Wiz on cheating on her during their marriage. He has not commented.
Cannon, 34, also attended the XXIV Karat Champagne launch party and he and Rose appeared to be in great spirits, a witness told E! News.
"Nick showed up around 9, he came to support Amber on her night out with friends," the witness said. "The two were seen mingling together, laughing and hugging while sharing some words."
Cannon had earlier this week reportedly confirmed that he and Carey, mother of their 3-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, have split. His comments followed months of speculation and after he had said in an interview there was "trouble in paradise" and that the two have been living apart for months. E! News had reported in September that the 45-year-old pop star has "started the divorce process." Carey, who wed the America's Got Talent host in 2008, has not commented.
Cannon talked about Rose on the The Rickey Smiley Morning Show earlier this week, calling the model "someone that I'm managing." He also said that "the wound's too fresh" for him to be in a new relationship.

Rose and Wiz were married for just over a year when she filed for divorce. The two share a 1-year-old son, Sebastian "The Bash" Taylor Thomaz, and their divorce process may lead to a custody battle, as the model wants full custody of the child, while Wiz wants to share custody.
Despite the marital drama, Rose told E! News, "I'm as happy as I can be. I'm taking this time to do me."
The model has been seen out and out in recent weeks, including with Nick Simmons, KISS rocker Gene Simmons' son, who says they are "friends," and has also been spending some quality mommy-son time with her boy. She recently took the child to pick pumpkins at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, a popular venue for pre-Halloween activities for many celebrity families, located about an hour away from Los Angeles, where she lives.
Next week, Rose also plans to celebrate her 31st birthday by hosting two parties, in Washington, D.C. and in Sunnyvale, California.
And in addition to her modeling photo shoots, she is also working on a new, creative venture.
"I'm super excited about my book," she told E! News. "Can't tell you much else other than it's for us women."
