E! News has reached out to Upham's camp and the police department for comment.

The 32-year-old was last seen leaving her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot on Oct. 5. Her father, Charles Upham, released a statement to the media and reported her missing the following day, noting that she suffered from mental illness.

Although his initial statement did not go into detail on Misty's condition, he later explained that she was struggling with depression and panic attacks. "The truth is Misty is not stressed over money or career. Her career is going great," Charles wrote in a press release posted to the actress's Facebook page. "As her father I do not fear she committed suicide. I feel that she has been hurt by accident or someone has put her in harm's way."

"Misty has suffered from mental illness most of her life. With the help of her medical team and family support she is able to manage it well."

Misty Upham played the role Johnna Monevata, the caregiver to Meryl Streep's character in the film August: Osage County, which earned her a SAG Award nomination alongside the cast for her work in the movie.
