It's a huge night in baseball, folks.

The Kansas City Royals can officially claim the crown as they advance to the World Series for the first time in 29 years after the team finished a four-game sweep of the American League Championship Series with a 2-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles tonight.

And you know who's really happy about that? Well, yes, the Kansas City Royals, but aside from them...Kansas City native Paul Rudd.

The true and loyal KC fan (Rudd also attended Shawnee Mission West and the University of Kansas) was present at the game tonight to witness the historic win and told KMBC 9 News on the field at Kauffman Stadium, "This is amazing, the entire town feels it. When we went on that win streak this summer, I thought this could legitimately happen."

So how's he going to celebrate? With a massive house party at his mom's place, of course. Oh, and you're invited! "Party at my mom's house man! She's out of town, I've got a keg. It's going to be sweet," Rudd joked. "Five dollar cover!"

LOL! See you there!
